Why Level 2 charging?

The cord that came with your car plugs into a regular outlet, but it's slow. A Level 2 charger on a dedicated 240-volt circuit refills most EVs overnight.

Level 1 · 120V outlet

3–5 miles

of range per hour of charging. Fine for short commutes, but a full charge can take days.

Level 2 · 240V circuit

25–40+ miles

of range per hour, depending on your car and charger. Wake up to a full battery every morning.

EV charger FAQ

Have a different question? Call 503-583-8050.

Will I need a panel upgrade?

Many homes have room for a charger as-is. If yours is close to capacity, we can often set the charger to a lower amperage or add load management instead of a full panel upgrade.

Hardwired or plug-in?

Hardwired chargers can usually charge faster and have fewer parts to wear out. A plug-in NEMA 14-50 outlet makes it easy to swap chargers later. We'll help you decide.

How long does installation take?

Most home installs are done in a day when the panel has room. Long wire runs or a panel upgrade can add time, and we'll tell you up front.

Can you install outside or in a detached garage?

Yes. We install on exterior walls and posts and in detached garages and shops, using outdoor-rated chargers and proper wiring for the run.

Ready to charge at home?

Send a photo of your panel and where you park, and we'll get you a quote fast.
